Located next to the UC Berkeley campus, Global Montessori offers an English, Chinese, and Japanese Bilingual Montessori-style approach to education. The beautiful classrooms and large outdoor playground, with a variety of play structures, offer a safe and secure environment in which both learn and to have fun. The school has two separate buildings, one for pre-school children ages one-and-a-half to three, and another for elementary school children ages three to six. In addition to the traditional Montessori materials and educational approach certified by Montessori teachers, further professional Chinese and Japanese language lessons are offered during after-school care. The elementary school children can also take advantage of language instruction in the same building, as well as select from other available programs, such as the After-School Program , Fall/Spring Weekend Chinese Program , English reading and writing program , movement and dancing program.
